HI-707-25 Nitrite Low Range Checker (0-999 ppb) spare reagent 25 tests.
£24.00
Reagent for HI -707 Nitrite Marine Low Range Pocket Checker
This reagent is for use with the HI-707 nitrite low range pocket checker and provides enough for 25 tests.
The HI-707-25 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Nitrite Low Range Checker® HC. These reagents follow the Diazotization Method in which the reaction between nitrite and reagent causes a pink tint in the sample. By simply adding the packet of HI-707-25 reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI-707 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppb of nitrite. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0 to 600 ppb nitrite.
Tip for an accurate measurement
It is important that the sample does not contain any debris.
Whenever the cuvette is placed into the measurement cell, it must be dry outside and completely free of fingerprints, oil or dirt. Wipe it thoroughly with HI-731318 or a lint-free cloth prior to insertion.
Shaking the cuvette can generate bubbles, causing higher readings. To obtain accurate measurements, remove such bubbles by swirling or by gently tapping the cuvette.
Do not let the reacted sample stand for too long after reagent is added, or accuracy will be lost.
After the reading, it is important to discard the sample immediately, otherwise the glass might become permanently stained.
HI-700-25 Reagents for HI-700 Ammonia Pocket Checker
£28.44
This 25 pack of reagents is for use with the HI-700 Ammonia Low Range Pocket Checker.
The HI-700-25 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Ammonia Checker® HC. These reagents follow the Nessler Method in which the reaction between ammonia and reagents causes a yellow tint in the sample. By simply adding 4 drops from each bottle of HI-700-25 reagent set to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI-700 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm (mg/L) of ammonia-nitrogen (NH3-N). These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 3.00 ppm ammonia-nitrogen. To convert the reading to ppm of ammonia (NH3) multiply the result by 1.214.

PLEASE NOTE:
In some cases, samples may contain other parameters which may interfere with results
Interference may be caused by:
Bromine, Iodine, Ozone, Oxidised forms of Chromium and Manganese. In case of water with hardness greater than 500 mg/L CaCO3, shake the sample for approximately 2 minutes after adding the powder reagent. If the water used for this procedure has an alkalinity value greater than 250 mg/L CaCO3 or acidity value greater than 150 mg/L CaCO3, the colour of the sample may develop only partially, or may rapidly fade. To resolve this, neutralise the sample with diluted HCl or NaOH.
HI-711-25 Reagents for HI-711 Total Chlorine Pocket Checker

The HI-711-25 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Total Chlorine Checker® HC - HI-711. These reagents follow the DPD Method in which the reaction between chlorine and reagent causes a pink tint in the sample. By simply adding the packet of HI-711-25 reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI-711 will determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm (mg/L) of total chlorine. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 3.50 ppm (mg/L) total chlorine.
